With over 20 years of experience and a member Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GIS), Kofi Obeng Ayirebi has been involved in Costing, bid preparation and tendering process and management and technical auditing and remediation, and works measurement for related assignments in WasteCare. Prominent among these assignments is Provision of sanitation facilities and services in Sabon Zongo, Accra under WaterAid-Ghana/UN-Habitat Water for African Cities Phase 2 (WACII), Component 2 project. He has also been involved in the costing of proposed interventions in the National Environmental Sanitation Strategy and Action Plan (NESSAP).

As a private consultant, he has carried out many pre-contract and post-contract Quantity Surveying Assignments. These projects include:

• Refurbishment and Construction of Offices and Banking hall for S.G-S.S.G. at Tema Harbour-Tema
• Construction and completion of the following projects at Ghana National Manganese Corporation in Tarkwa
• Construction of 1000 tonne capacity facility for Limbrest Foods Limited at the Motorway, Accra (now Kunesh)
• SSNIT Housing at Sakumono. Phase 1 and 2 (1500 Units)

• Development of Marketing Plan for Messrs Geowags Ltd., Oakfarm Ventures, and Obturk Limited
• Development of Cluff Mining at Ayamfuri (now AG – Ayumfuri Mines)
